Easy at the bottom but Severe at the top. Didn't fancy abseil block so we did tricky traverse to descend from abseil above Fat Controller.

More like vDiff. Well protected but suffers from seepage.

A nice v. Diff

We approached via walking up the west bank (true right bank) Wallowbarrow Gorge (River Duddon)until level with Tower of Flints anfd then boulder hopping across the river to the East bank (true left). It was then a steep thrash through dense bracken up to the crag. We returned via the Thwacking Stone & then direct toward the Newfield - this is not recommended due to dense undergrowth.

Quite good, let down by the rock scars from the obviously extensive cleaning. More like VDiff, just one tricky section at the top.
