|25m. At the base of Pete's Wall is a large, chossy, roof-capped bay, bounded on its left by a grey arête, under which is a large buddleia. Start 3 metres left again, a metre right of a small buddleia 3 metres up. Climb up into a shallow scoop; then move up to cam placements under a small roof, using the unstable rib on the left as little as possible. Step up, locate holds high up left, and pull leftwards over the bulge; then boldly climb the right-trending shallow groove to another buddleia. Trend rightwards between saplings and move up onto the brown wall; then continue to the first horizontal crack. Climb rightwards (bold) to a second horizontal crack; then move right again and climb directly up the middle of the wall. Move back left as you near the top to finish at the jutting block. |
