Intermediate Gully* VI 7
220m, 3 pitches. The gully/chimney line that splits C and D Buttress. Some of the crux sections are avoidable. 1) 30m. Steady climbing leads up to a cave below the first chockstone. 2) 29m. Hard climbing around the chockstone to followed by a wide crack leads to recess below the next chockstone. 3) 15m. Climb the utterly desperate cleft above or make a poorly protected diversion to the right. Easier climbing to Easy terrace. Either descend Easy Terrace or continue more easily up the gully line to the summit. © ROCKFAX
