[Topo of Wall and Tree Chimney, 3 kb]15m, 2 pitches. Using odd laybacking and chimneying techniques, ascend the wall and tree ocasionally placing poor gear untill about 7 metres up, where it is possible to 'jump' into the tree and create a belay. From hear step back onto the face and climb up untill it is possible to make a tricky move left onto a ledge. Ascend the slope using a rabbit hole for a handjam, to a tree where a belay can be made. Note: An obligatory cam should be placed between branches of the tree, keeping in tradition with the first ascent...

Our first route in Newton dale, looking back, it was a pretty silly and quite dangerous route onsight. The use of the tree is essential due to the fact that most of the holds and blocks will not take body weight before departing from the rock. Almost broke my ankle when jake pulled a flake off on the upper pitch.
