28m. A long "adventure" pitch on the recently cleaned buttress 20m right of Pearl. The climbing is not hard, but some of the rock should be handled with care (hence the HS grade). Start left of a chimney, at a short, wide crack. Climb the crack to a tree; then climb the left-leaning, slabby rib above. Continue in the same line to easy ground, and belay on yew trees up and left. Abseil from here, or carefully scramble around the trees and descend the gully on the right (facing in).

Death block on the rib mid-route! Square-meter sized massive flake ready to go - don't touch but pass to the left of it. I was silly enough to try put a cam below, when I pulled on it to test, the whole flake moved forwards - scary! Otherwise a reasonable route with quite some (smaller) loose rock. Maybe not the best route to attempt after weeks of heavy rain...

Nice little route, shame about the state of the rock! Caution advised, good work though Brian.

Not a bad route but check all your holds as there is still a fair bit of loose stuff!

A nice well-protected route if you keep in mind to test every hold prior to putting weight on it.

May settle down to a Severe. HS for the time being.

A fair bit of suspect rock remains.
