No way 3 star as indicated by Oxford guide, 1 will do. Pitch 1 is 4a and have to go up ramp to loose 1st corner before can get decent cam in a pocket, reasonable drop below; no gear above detached block/tree. Moved up from 1st belay & belayed at base of red pillar as ropes wouldnot run well continuing on up it. Nice climbing up red pillar - better & more juggy than first appearances. Next headwall pitch looked loose but was ok. Traversed 8ft along ledge to Wild Country and the 'Black Groove' as rock above belay looked even more suspect. Prickly descent lower part of gully/ascent back to rucksacs, perhaps would have been better carrying sacs and avoiding having to go uphill to get them. Lead all pitches. [Susan Brown & Mick Sissons in front of us as pair].
