[Gavin Symonds on Christine f8a, 3 kb]17m. An extremely steep line through the roofs right of Blue Planet. Use the same abseil as Blue Planet but continue to an old bolt belay and a large Friend in a crack at sea level. Move right to the line of bolts leading through the roof to join up with Blue Planet on its upper hanging wall. Has been deep water soloed but needs a high tide. (S2) © ROCKFAX

Amazing climbing with a technical and complex crux sequence. I climbed this route ground up after a few exciting and wildly out of control splashdowns into the beautiful blue sea. Felt hard but I expect that is because I was climbing into an unknown sequence. I LOVE DWS!!!

Wooo she's a cheeky one is our Christine. She'd rather be out having a coffee with her friends, I'd rather climb this all day long! Managed to stick the crux of the lower boulder problem on my last try of the trip (gave it some beans), got to the no hands rest but then fluffed the next bit going to the wrong undercut. Keen to have a good hard project to aspire to.
