UKC Logbook - 'Shit Route'

140m. 140m, M5 WI4. The route climbs a ice gully for 140m meters, beginning a short way down on skiers left of the Cunningham couloir. The ice is moderate at first but has several vertical steps as well as mixed sections. Unfortunately the upper section of the route is partially fed by the effluence from the Midi toilets, so a cold day is advised. The final pitch is the crux, which ends quickly with a move out right to a suspended ladder, which in turn leads to a small scaffold platform below the main viewing platform.
