Snow soft and a bit mushy but plenty deep enough that you never went near any turf (which would not have been frozen). Crux step tricky though good but spaced rock hooks to pull through, certainly not the tech 6 mentioned in a previous post!

BnB 03/Mar/13 Lead O/S

Lean conditions with sugar snow. Chockstone insurmountable so made delicate detour on marginal turf ledges to clear hurdle. Technical grade an easy II but some angst-provoking moves on the detour.

very powdery snow, like swiming on the approach waist deep often, no consolidation of snow until top of route and little ice making the rock steps much harder than the grade
