Didn't really know what we were on but it was nice enough. Moved together for most of it.

Swim up to the pitch which peri did, then upto the waiting gales! done before with Warwick + Graham and Martin Brown years ago
a real snow wallow to get there, but the little wall was quite entertaining

Straightforward with two mixed steps. I backed off Branch Gully (I) before this climb, and found this easier despite the grade difference.

Another great pitch on a fantastic day's winter climbing in the Lakes. It really doesn't get much better than this!
very good conditions - I'd previously climbed it in poor conditions on 18/2/95, also solo
