P1,2,3,5 I linked P1 and 2, then did P3 as tennis court wall more my thing than Chris'. Traverse back into gully very bold, took a higher traverse on flakes and stepped up onto a ledge. Poor snow. Then stepped down into gully to climb up to beneath the chock stone. Chris led the collie step boldy with a tricam runner and I finished up the collie exit.

Cracking day. Mostly direct so some steeper bits. Boot ski (and 100m uncontrolled slide!) descent virtually all the way down. Tremendous.

Plenty of spindrift pouring down but good ice in general, frozen turf in places and snow-ice. The cracked wall pitch was delicate as was Collies Step. Alot of clearing required to find pro, but once uncovered there is, in general, enough. Currently in awesome condition.

A fantastic route cutting through some amazing scenery. The turf was all well frozen but everything was covered in an unhelpful layer of powder. There was plenty of old snow and some ice but this ranged from solid to very brittle and unhelpful. The pitch to the chockstone was hard and scary as there wasn't much for axes and the Collie step was pretty thin too.
