P1,2,3,5 I linked P1 and 2, then did P3 as tennis court wall more my thing than Chris'. Traverse back into gully very bold, took a higher traverse on flakes and stepped up onto a ledge. Poor snow. Then stepped down into gully to climb up to beneath the chock stone. Chris led the collie step boldy with a tricam runner and I finished up the collie exit.

Excellent climb, very good conditions.
GPN - AltLd - 09/Feb/13 with Shaw Brown

Great conditions, just the right amount of ice on the chockstone pitch. Backed off leading the 3rd pitch, George saved the day!

Cracking day. Mostly direct so some steeper bits. Boot ski (and 100m uncontrolled slide!) descent virtually all the way down. Tremendous.
NeilGriffiths - AltLd - 13/Mar/10 with Adam

loved it, Colloies step was superb, although thin, perfect conditions, boot skied most of the way back down too what a great day.
A Crook - AltLd - 13/Mar/10 with Neil Griffiths

Neve was good and turf still frozen but the ice was thin and wet, especially at the Collie Step. Excellent route with lots of character
crowberry gully - 13/Mar/10 with Ross McGibbon

Stunning Route in Stunning Condition on a Stunning day!
Lee Sheard - AltLd O/S - 08/Mar/10 with John Hubbard

Nice route and conditions were OK. Mixed wall pitch and Collie Step pitch both good.
Martin Haworth - AltLd O/S - 07/Mar/10 with richard white

Brilliant route. Varied and very interesting as a three. Took a winger off the Collie Step, but jumped back on and did second time around, thin ice put me off. Great Neve everywhere else.
Dave Warburton - AltLd - 06/Mar/10 with gareth uglow, Tom Nichols

First proper mixed route. Led the middle pitch up to the cave/chockstone. Awesome day out.

frost - Lead - 28/Feb/10 with D Garry

Great route, several tough moves, equivalent to scottish V,6.
Andrew Sloan - AltLd O/S - 28/Feb/10 with Steve Grove

Plenty of spindrift pouring down but good ice in general, frozen turf in places and snow-ice. The cracked wall pitch was delicate as was Collies Step. Alot of clearing required to find pro, but once uncovered there is, in general, enough. Currently in awesome condition.
Rydell - AltLd O/S - 21/Feb/10

A fantastic route cutting through some amazing scenery. The turf was all well frozen but everything was covered in an unhelpful layer of powder. There was plenty of old snow and some ice but this ranged from solid to very brittle and unhelpful. The pitch to the chockstone was hard and scary as there wasn't much for axes and the Collie step was pretty thin too.
Andrew Barker - Lead O/S - 18/Feb/10 with John Barker

Good conditions - Collie step good few inches of ice.

Awesome day - clear blue sky, had the whole crag to ourselves. No ice as such but plenty of powder, well frozen turf and rime. About IV 5 under such conditions I felt.
