βeta: Amazing day out, super nice little ridge. Found a topo online the night before. We took a bus from Lauterbrunnen and then a gondola Isenfluh - Sudwald (takes around 45mins total). Hiked up fairly fast, 1.5h to the bottom of the climb. Decided to simul climb to make it on time to catch the last lift. Did a 5c variation, took us 4h with all the abseils. We were very lucky with route finding, but can imagine that finding the right path on the grassy walk sections might be a bit unnerving if less confident. Main climbing pitches are super well bolted, but the scrambling on easier terrain feels exposed (we didn't have any trad gear with us this time so just had to run it out but maybe a few pieces would be nice to have). It's absolutely fine to do the first abseil with 60m twin ropes. After summit we walked down to the second abseil (15m of slabby scrambling) and then were able to ab down in two goes. Walk to the gondola tool us around 1h10mins. Had beer and cake while waiting - highly recommend. Total time with some faff in-between steps and waiting for transport was a 9h day.
