βeta: I decided to check the tied off peg, and although it took few taps to get it out, it was only in the rock about an inch. After a bit of work I have managed to get it in deeper, now about 40mm and much more solid. Still not fully seated to the eye, so needs a clip sling, which is now 6mm cord as webbing was too wide.
