Very enyoyable romp up this classic easy gully. Snow a bit soft, improving with height. When the gully opened out at the top, went slighlty right to finish through a small cornice. From above the left branch looked better and wasn't corniced. Descended by the North-East ridge.

Snow complete from corrie floor to the summit. Snow had frozen well after the thaw, so followed easy bucket steps all of the way to the top. Topped out into wonderful sunshine.

Climbed with Simon Mason. My first winter snow route using axes and crampons (borrowed). Excellent deep snow. Got a bit wary 100m or so from the top out, wasn't sure wether to rope up or not, but we just carried on front pointing. Can't wait for next season

Climbed gully and after i hour pacing back and forward at the summit did Ski Decent (sid slipped the narrows & had to wait 5 mins for roped party to pass at botton of narrows) excellet forgiving spring snow.
