Avoided the 6b start by embarking on Creme de la Phlegm then escaping rightwards to join BST at about 4m! Enjoyed the climbing till above the last bolt (and supplementary horizontal wire in break) where I felt pumped and jittery and struggled to stick the final moves... but did. An exhilarating finish for sure.

Clocks went forward last night *8) Guidebook (Avon and Cheddar) has the direct start as 6b, which Tim did and concurred with the grade. The left hand start felt 6a+, with a sting in the tail. Don't know where pembrokeshirecaver is getting the 6c+ from.

Did the direct start, which according to the guidebook is 6b, with harder climbing at the top, I found this grade a sandbag and pumped out. One for another day when I'm more warmed up.

Did this as a warm-up and had one rest at the top bolt as didn't want to get totally flash pumped (best hold very difficult to find). Found the start much easier than the top. It gets 6a+/6b in the guide we had (the latest one I think) - I think 6a+ is certainly tough for the top; wish Id known it got 6b+ on here and maybe failure would have deflated me a bit less...
