UKC

150m. A classic climb that can be observed from Fagernes. Generally has a long season. Can be climbed in 2 pitches but often in 3 shorter. The last pitch is the steepest and given the grade WI3 / 3+ depending on ice build up. The upper icefall is most commonly climbed however there is a lower fall that can also be climbed.

The name Hyllebekken (locals call it Hyllefossen) meaning shelf waterfall should give you a good image of how the icefall forms (with loads of ledges on it). Caution should be exercises on this route after snowfall or when temperatures rise (if there is snow on it) as it is not uncommon for stuffs / mini avalanches to sweep the fall (and you with it).

Descent can be made by abseil (probable best as it is easy to get lost in the forest)

There have been a few accidents on the fall due snow sliding off.
