Abbed down The Grooves and made a wet traverse across to the base; I'd recommend the alternative using a good thread in boulders near top of slab. The traverse leftwards from platform into higher point on route - necessary due to high seas - was interesting but consistent with grade. After all that, the climbing was excellent and much easier than expected.
