The final route in this area is located on a more isolated buttress about 15m to the right. A must for aspiring hardmen. The striking orange arete with a peg at 2/3 height is climbed on the left hand side to the peg (don't blow the 5c move below the peg) then swing round the arete and layback to the top.

Lord ash2000 "Very bold moves up the arete until a peg is reached at 3/4 hight to protect crux."

Ticklists: Lancashire's Finest.

The only really dry route in the quarry. Must remember to come back to check out the other two aretes and the off-width crack.

Tried to onsight it but it was extremely dirty. Clipped the peg and pulled up to clean the route to that point and lowered off. Started over and went easily. Crux was straight forward.
