Rockfax Description
14m. The superb long leaning groove gives a great piece of climbing, sustained, though with good protection, and a hard move high up (well, apart from the move to get off the ground). Well worth calling in for when the conditions are right. © Rockfax

on my first attempt I bottled it near the top last move (babies head); on second try i completed it clean on lead.

Can do the moves on the bottom half clean to the ledge. Some great moves but strenuous for me!

Was a bit stumped by the lower crux and nearly fell out of the wide finish but thoroughly enjoyable. Good to finally do this.

A brilliant line. Dry after a sustained sunny period and even quite clean too!

Abit damp and slimey, but probably not the problem... will be back for the HP. Fantastic gear and a great route.

Dave had first attempt, used a few of his early runners. Right on my limit, superb route.

Took one fall lowdown onto a bomber cam, then did it clean next try. An awesome line and a big break through for me one of my first E2 leads.

Brilliant little route! I took a canny fall onto a double 0 which was placed in one of the many slimey cracks and it held. Excellent technical climbing :)

Great technical climbing, well-protected, in a stunning setting. Defo deserves three stars.

Quite tricky to start and tricky to finish. Well protected but slimey rock which spoilt things.

Well protected route. Climbing partner had done the hard work up to the crux. My first E lead in the bag. Dogged but Fantastic.

Bit damp at the top. tough move low down to the first break and an awkward armbar and reach at the top. Glad to get it done.

After falling the lower section and nearly decking, and scaring myself. i tried again with much more "anger" pulled over to the rest went for the lay back and slipped falling only a meter or 2. i flew up it with rage. it was done in the rain but the route wasn't to bad, but still annoyed about losing my on sight

A real classic and typical of the grade. It's a generally damp crag but Satchmo should be OK in the damp if not the pouring rain!
