Another excellent day. Scrambly start but really positive feeling rock. There were a couple of steep parts but the rock was very grippy.

Fantastic route with amazing views, shame we didnt have so much time to enjoy it as we were rushing to catch the last ferry to Mull!
Tasmin - 2nd - 30/May/14 with Robbie Maclean, Catherine Marsh, Craig Holden

Fun in the sun. Hard to get to base without direct start.
Craig Holden - Lead O/S - 30/May/14 with Robbie, Tasmin Fletcher, Catherine Marsh

Ran the rope up this in 6 full length pitches. Perfect stances and great views all the way. Topped out at 2230. oops! The parking spot for the direct approach to the Bealach is a tick and midge infested hellhole though! blog post here:

Excellent rock and situations. We started two pitches early before the ledge The Great Ridge starts on, but it doesn't seem to be Direct Start either (though there was some tat on it).

One of the best ridge climbs I've done in Scotland. Felt like quite a bold solo - take the warnings about the approach seriously, it isn't pleasant.

Moved together. Pretty chossy, nasty first 100m or so, but once on the ridge, the scrambling was excellent! I think the chossy, vegetated slopes could be by-passed by heading further up to the bealach (right of the ridge), and traversing in.
Ken Applegate - Lead - 14/Jun/09 with Chris Webster

Started from the gully below South-East Chimney and traversed the unpleasant steep pasture. Not nice but worth it for the ridge proper. Views are stunning!

The first pitches are not described, and are horrible, shossy, wet loose and green. Once on the ridge things are worth the 2 stars! Pitch the first 2 sections, and move together after that, it are only short, easy climbs with very little risk of falling.
