Three pitches. This one usually has fat ice that leads from the gorge up to the road. Due to slabby character this waterfall disappears in snowy conditions. There are many possible variations. Descend by walking back down the road © Rockfax

Only led the first pitch due to poor conditions
Three pitches, mostly thin with some turf. Easy angled fist full lead on ice. Stepped and bulges providing interest.

I did top three pitches. hard on calves. We had to contend with several teams knocking ice onto us and people abseilling down

3 really long pitches, all 3 were close to 60metres. Topped out on the road just as it was getting dark.
Our guide [Alan Cooney] led the route. Ended up abseiling off in the dark.
First ice route of the hol, nice
1st ice climb for 2 years, good to ease back in to it. quite snowy

Lead pitches one and three. Could be done in two full 60m pitches. Mostly easy ground, placed 9 screws in whole route excluding belays.
Last route of the trip, scrambled first 30m the 3 pitches to the top, quite sketchy in places, i received a nicely bruised hand after a big lump of ice fell on it. Good fun though and a good way to end the trip!

Not much ice as the sun was strong. Quite cruddy and not worth the 3 stars in that condition.
|Simon Caldwell||08/Mar/08||AltLd O/S||
In 3 pitches, 55m, 50m, 45m. C led pitches 1 and 3. First pitch very wet, the rest good quality ice. Steady drizzle all the way up. A good route, low in the grade, a bit like a WI version of scrambling!
Did one pitch and abbed off for some fun whilst hanging around
|Andrew Sloan||24/Feb/08||Lead O/S||
Just did 1st pitch as we were a party of five.
