A good route on an uncertain day done as a team. Not alot of ice on first pitch and even less protection. After that continued up easy shelf and up steep corner to Finish up a long chimney which was fun. No avalanche risk on aproach and a bit of accumulation on final headwall. Down over Creise and down the ski centre. No ify snow encountered.

Really cold. Almost no gear to be found

Great route. Could have done with more ice lower down. Lots of powder made it difficult to find runners but very enjoyable.

The turf was mostly frozen, there was very little ice - obviously, given that it is late November. A good first climb of the season.

Lower ice not fully formed but enough to climb on. Snow on upper pitches just powder. Think we went too high on the right of the upper buttress, as by the time a wall forced us left we were above the start of the final gully and had to traverse into it. Never climbing on Pierce's '50m' ropes again!

No thick ice on first pitch, turf not frozen and some great neve and some unconsolidated powder. Walked off route but will come back another day!

lead initial ice (crux) pitches - placed 3 separate and ever longer screws. Did the route much more direct up the gullys than suggested in guidebook

Snow on ledges but rock clear. Grade 3 scramble really

Flummoxed by the guidebook description and a thick covering of snow, we climbed up 3 pitches way over on the right side of the buttress. Reached an impasse and abbed back down.

Simul solo, combined with the weep gave 400m of climbing.

Great route, with a fantastic first pitch. Climbed a narrow slot on the final pitch, probably at tech 5. Fortunately the ground on the walk-in was frozen, otherwise it would have been a very boggy walk.

Fabulous ice! Fell off top of 1st pitch, finished it and then abandoned route for gully to the left.

went straight up the wall mistakenly missing out the stepped chimney near the top, descended no 5, and did again with karin, again missing the chimney, this time turning the wall on the left.

Worth wading through powder over Rannoch Moor, great climb, with enjoyable ice, turf and mixed climbing. Went slightly off route on the last pitch, couldn't find the chimney, went up the wall which was good but harder.

Excellent ice on 1st pitch, followed by easy rock climbing. Snow on the ground getting quite mushy.

Bottom ice pitch not there when we did it but still well worth doing.

We couldn't tell whether we climbed the route or not as the route descriptions in the guidebook are crap.
