2nd time, climbed after corvus, same day. Brillannt day
Alright, didn't quite finish. Went off route and went right just below the top instead of left.
Moved together which was fun.
first climb this year! really cool route , one of the most interesting climbs
Work day - Recky for clients, big boots a great fun climb. All pitches have something about them, loved the block pitch. Rat hole was bypassed again...scary tight space! Did the south chimney passages up to the attic cave.

Totally bonkers route. In pissing wet and a gale this felt nails. Cold and wet, but the cave was a laugh!
Led pitch 1 backed off pitch 3 seconded the rest. First go at a real full on chimney wasn't happy.Done in big boots after Corvus.

Another brilliant route, P1 - easy up the crack/slab, P2 - fantastic belay position ontop of the block, P3 - slide off the block into the gap and thrutch and grovel up the chimney, P4 - up the arete, jump the gap and finish up the slab. Best diff I have ever climbed, feels like a real adventure.

Felt really adventurous! And it was in the sun when Raven Crag opposite, was looking wet and gloomy. The wacky part is much easier that it looks, and (in retrospect) was FUN!! Sack haul required in the chimney cos it is a bit of a sqeeeeeeez. Knee friendly descent past the tarn down Rosthwaite Fell.
via the cave

Zara was definitely not a fan of the gap on the third pitch so had to abseil down then prusik back up! Mission!
Lead P1 and P3. As I was leading P3, rain came in. P4 soaking, so abbed off.

Great fun. My first experience of what caving is like!! Very memorable.
geared up in rock boots on a ledge of snow. Snow flurries. No gear for first pitch, hands were numb with cold. Thankfully, the weather improved.
