First pitch is rather dirty, the second pitch is the meat of the route which felt more like HVS on the day !

First pitch a dead loss (but you can traverse in from the descent) needs abseiling down to clean properly, but the second pitch is great, slightly bold start , then lots of gear. Great position.

i led first pitch of The Veil rather than official first pitch which looked unappealing. Great route!

jen lead pitch 1 of the veil, i led 2nd pitch, obviously im not a gritstone climber!! Great pitch well worth doing, take 2 no2 friends then go for it.

P2. Another route on this part of the crag which is well worth a look. Good moves and gear moving up through the crack.
