Toad's Arete* VS 4b
40m. Climb just right of the obvious right hand arete, using flakes and a big crack. Hardest at the start escape onto a shelf level with the arete, before the arete and finally a slab. The top slab is very dirty. The Descent is far more fun than the climb. Do not climb thinking the tree on Raven as mentioned in the guide book is suitable for abseil, its rotten and dead. In situ lower off above and at right end of ledge.

Thought it was a fun wee adventure, deserves a star for pure entertainment! nuce airy but juggy start, good climbing til 30m up then carried on up the dirty slabs with no gear until rope ran out. then got to the ledge with the 'small forrest' from which we abbed
