One abseil (in situ tat) and a short scramble down the SE Face gets you to the Col de la Buche (between l'M and Petits Carmoz). From here, follow the west side of the couloir down (loose) until the ladders are reached which get you onto the Nantillions Glacier. (In 2009 these ladders didn't reach the glacier and instead a short tricky downclimb or abseil off the bottom rung was required.)

Pick the least chossy route down but remember to bear left near the bottom to pick up the ladders. No snow remains in gulley in late summer.
