Soloed bottom section, not sure how rigidly we stuck to the proper line (went more or less straight up and never found a rightward traverse) and scrambled the last bit to the top. First ever multi-pitch, and in big boots. Weather fine throughout, enjoyed it immensely.

Do not start low down at the base of Douglas Boulder as we did, but skirt around the unprotected slabs via a zig left and a zag right! The enjoyable part of the climbing is higher up anyway

Late start, lots of rain. Longer and harder than expected. Stayed on rock slabs up to headwall (easy angled but not much protection and quite slippy wet). Route finding was disconcerting, miraculously kept finding those pitons and crampon scars.The wet shallow chimney was feisty.3.5hours, a mere two hours more than we had predicted: too manky and late to continue up Tower R - sadly.

Pitched the whole thing due to it being damp and grassy bits very slippy. Pitches up to base of chimney are horrid (slimy, loose and no protection). Climbed grooves to the right of the chimney (which was soaking wet) for 2 pitches, which were quite nice. Final pitch from ledge is loose and slimy again. Took us about 6 hours. Overall wouldnt recommend this route. Doesnt deserve any stars.
