Finish straight up the slab without recourse to the arete. A bit contrived but worthwhile. Might be E2 5c for the short of arse

"When peter and myself did the first ascent we did not move over to the arete but went straight up the slab pulling up on a small hold just wide for finger tips then try and stay in balance to reach a tiny sloping hold then reach the ledge we did did not use the arete nor surface plate for gear i hope this helps anyone that wants to try and climb it.."
