The route this year is ??PD. Much longer than normal due to serac fall and crevasses the route starts at the r moves along over the serac band to the very far left as if doing the traverse of the Barre. Initially climb the ridge (icey when we did it with a fixed rope) and skirt r below the schrund and then onto the summit.

Bivi beyond the hut. Got up before the masses from the hut and enjoyed a great sunrise and summit to ourselves. Technically easy but felt quite long with as a first alpine route of the summer with no acclimatisation.
