Rockfax Description
The main pitch tackles the diagonal break that runs across the severely overhanging face via some strenuous undercutting. Well protected. Start behind a large block on a raised ledge.
1) 4c, 12m. On the right is a crack. Gain the crack and climb it until moves right reach a ledge - belay at a tree.
2) 6a, 25m. Take the break to a niche below the upper corner of Western Union (thread). Increasingly strenuous jamming and undercutting leads to a sloping ledge above the overhangs.
3) 4c, 14m. Head right to finish on grass, or up the final corner of Phoenix in Obsidian - better. © Rockfax
