A fantastic route located on the Sunset buttress which is left of the Red Spout. The route starts 10mts right of the obvious chockstone gully, up a vegetated ramp on the left face of the buttress. All difficulties contained in a sequence in the middle of the first pitch, some very hard and stratchy moves protected by a low in-situ peg. A few tricky little steps thereafter. 3 Pitches 100mts.

This climb is in 4 logbooks, and on no wishlists.
Lead through crux chockstone and up to the final crack in the headwall, route goes right here, but attempted straight up crack, pretty difficult, tech 7? Too much crappy snow so abbed off. Lamb - Lead dnf - 02/Apr/13 with Iain Powell, Findlay Cranston
Superb route, continued interest and exposure, moves are brilliant, full variety of techniques required! However no where near IV 5, it is a Lochnagar V 6. Did it in two pitches and moved together after the difficulties. Good pro. Lamb - AltLd O/S - 06/Dec/11 with Stephen
Agree with whats said below. Difficulties not just in first pitch, plenty to be getting on with in the second aswell! Stephen18 - AltLd O/S - 06/Dec/11
