Extremely windy, almost got blown off the ledge above the crux! Ace route; soft HS 4b.

Conditions were dire. Very windy, and blowing mist and then rain onto the crack. Wet shoes. Tried it and got to the crux. Couldn't really use feet properly and fell about 6 times at the crack end. No wonder getting the top nut out the crack was a nightmare afterwards. Cheers Ben for belaying me in the rain and getting the gear out! I will be back in the dry, felt like an awesome route despite dogging it!

Great fun! Was climbing very well indeed this day! Had no problems at all on this, head was in gear, and was climbing swiftly and smoothly! First crack is semi-tricky to get into but quite easy to romp up, with a reach to the ledge. Move out right to the overhang, slam some decent gear in, and went for it, very little trouble concidering I have barely ever done any overhangs on rock! The trip to Font and Dolomites must have really helped my technique! Am sure I will do this again one day.
