Just recovering from a night out, with a cold and not taking the climb that seriously equalled me getting pretty scared, very pumped and almost falling off, but managed it clean in the end.

veeeery pumpy. and hard. placing gear on a steep layback crack with virtually no reasonable footholds can be amazingly hard. after I had two pieces in and my arms were close to giving up I decided that I'll have to go for it - and just made it by the skin of my teeth.

Fell off in May/08 from hanging around at the bottom of the crack - know now that was fair enough! Felt quite a bit harder than Legolas, E1 imo.
thomasadixon - Lead RP - 07/Oct/12 with Becca

bloody hell, this is hard. Seriousy doubt the grade given! It is definitely 5b - full on hard pumpy moves with excellent gear - if you've got strength to place it.

James had half an hour left so we decided to do one quick route. I found this pretty tough for the grade, strenuous with poor footholds good climbing though. Strangely whenever I've been to the crag before I've never noticed it that is until today.
Quarryboy - Lead O/S - 24/Sep/11 with James Rich

I found this quite hard for the grade. Handholds are good throughout but the footholds are quite small.
JamesRich - 2nd dog - 24/Sep/11 with Jack Bradbrook

Great climb, worth a star. Felt quite hard though especially placing gear in the crack. Found it awkward and pumpy to place so had to run out above one nut at the start of the crack.
Stanners - Lead O/S - 24/Sep/11 with Martin Stanfield

Good lead from Rob, looked wuite pumpy to place gear, but a nice route. Quite balancy to get over to the crack in the middle of the slab.

Hard move over to the RH crack. I did it just above the OH, Clare did it a little lower.
