Nice route, first two pitches are not that much, but the top two are pretty great. I traversed too high on the crux traverse into the groove, which left hard 5b ish moves, a good bit away from gear, felt e1 for sure, but really satisfying. Next time go lower. Tom belayed at the Oak Tree (not much of a belay further down), so I tried to follow the route by downclimbing from the belay and then stepping out left where you're meant to. However, this meant I couldn't put any gear in and it got quite tricky futher up and a fall would have been severe, so I bailed and downclimbed again and pendulumed back into the chimney, climbed back up to the oak and then stepped out left back onto the route.

Great route, climbed the 5b variation on the third pitch which goes right up into the overhanging groove above just before the step out right, then on the step out onto a tiny shit sloping edge with your right foot, match hands on alright hold and then move again right into gulley for good footholds. Eventually got the traverse, after refusing to believe that was where it went and trying a number of massively difficult variations. Once you get it right, I think 4c is fair. Recommend continuing P3 to the oak tree where there is a decent ledge for a belay.

Led P1 & P2 in one. Led P3. With the benefit of being on the 'blunt end' I reckon Pitch 3 can be climbed at 4C. Once you've fixed some good protection higher up in the groove, climb down to the base of the slab. Use a pinch for the left hand, stretch right leg a long way across and DOWN to a good foothold in the groove. Use a small pinch grip for the right hand to pull across ,reaching up with the left hand to a spike in the groove.

E1 5c??!! You're having a laugh. One interesting move. No sign of holds breaking off.

Lead 1st pitch. The second pitch was hard, apparantly the hold has broken off making it a E1 5c...

Agree with earlier comment, P3 5a. Get footwork right first time and it's all there. Get it wrong ????

The step across the crux feels 5a, especially for the short.

I was the least experienced of a rope of three. The other two tried the crux traverse for some time but failed. I was persuaded to have a try and suddenly found myself leading the rest of the route which I can still remember finding at (or beyond) my limit. Probably got two bits of gear in.
