UKC

A fine, harder alternative to Traditional Route, starting 15m further right. From the footpath, an obvious deep chimney/corner can be observed behind a dead tree. Scramble up to the start.

1 9m. 4b. Climb the deep chimney, with an awkward section all at the top. Continue up to belay beneath the steep wall.
2 9m. 4a. Climb up steeply but on good holds to the groove on the right. Traverse left and gain a bay beneath the impressive corner.
3 12m. 5a. Climb directly up the corner and escape right at the top.
Scramble up the rib, past a small oak, to belay at the short wall above, An exellent pitch, quite technical and exposed.
4 6m. Gain the wall by stepping off the block, and climb diagonally left to the top
