38m, 4 pitches. The girdle of the left wall and The Leaning Block is an epic. 1) 5a, 10m. Start up The Warding and follow the break to a belay on the arete of the gully. 2) 6a, 10m. Step up and stretch for a break on the side of the block. Follow this rightwards round the arete and continue (crux) to a belay in the niche of Surform. 3) 5c, 10m. Make a wild hand traverse across Bat Out of Hell to the arete. Finish up The File, or (if persistent) belay and... 4) 4c, 8m. ...continue on the lower of 2 breaks, until you can step off at the back of the Block. © ROCKFAX
