150m route. I lead first pitch and then alternated with Adam.C. Was enjoyable but wet so made it more difficult and needed LOADS of chalk as the route was in pretty much a small stream. Halla and Alex.M followed us up. Did awkward belay behind a massive flake in a foot wide gap about 10m above actual belay point. Ridiculous rope drag because of pulling round the flake. Great route but had to come down without continuing up and doing Arrow route and integrity as it started raining.

The chimney is hard, carrying sacks made it worse as you cant turn. Platerpus in my sack got squashed as i fought my way up, forcing water out of the tube and down my legs, wetting the holds for Nigel. I thought id wet myself with fear. At least I never have to do it again! Then I went off route, leaving Nigel a poorly protected pitch to get us back on track

A fun climb but a little crowded. Did a 4b variation onto Cioch Grooves to get up past the chimney as this is a real bottle-neck area with Seconds becoming stuck with their bags on!

Had a major epic - had to ab off in the dark after the crux pitch in deteriorating weather and couldn't pull the ropes down. Ended up abandoning the ropes and getting back to the car at 02:40am. Returned the following day, scrambled onto the terrace and lowered down 60 metres to get the ropes back.

Not a very good route, but done as part of massive link-up, so good day. Slot on pitch 2 is hard with a big sack, some seriously dangerous fresh rockfall on pitch three is ready to kill someone. Could probably do with trundling by a publicly minded and safe team.

Nightmare on the narrow chimney :(, it was cold and a bit damp, and I just couldn't figure it out. Eventually lowered off, out of consideration for Dave who was carrying the sack :). Traversed over to Cioch West and finished up that.

Not really a great climb. Took wrong side of yardarm post crux chimney and had to climb out over loose and poorly protected ground. 2 stars for where it gets you up to, no stars for the climbing. No harder than V Diff.

Was camping in Corrie Lagan. Set off up Cioch Grooves with Windy, hoping to meet up with Little Steve on the Terrace to do the Arrow. The rain came down and we abbed off with the masses who were on Cioch Direct. Sat in tent for an hour and then went off in big boots (no rucsacs!) and did it in the streaming wet. When I reached up to the first hold the water ran down my sleeve and I was wet from then until the following day when we went back down... Windy did the chimney: well he is a caver afterall! I did the slab, little gear and running like a river. Happy days.
