A good battle! This was the hardest route I managed to onsight during the trip. The deeply incut, slightly overhanging start was really awkward and quite physical and I almost gave up to have a rest but carried on as I wasn't actually falling off, just hard to make progress - required all sorts of contortions. Easier hands to a good rest above, then another incut section which turned into a bit of an offwidth - had to go from fists to a bit of chicken winging and armbaring. All a bit desperate but I persevered to get to the ledge before the bulge. This actually proved pretty straightforward - steep for a few moved but good hands. The tricky bit was getting established in the slot just above - I did a nice sequence sort of stepping into it with the right knee inside the slot, which got me in balance. Enjoyable thin hands led to the top. All pretty stout as the guide says and was knackered and bloodied by the end but happy to have done it, just about!
