The worst route on the worst cliff in the uk. A mesmerisingly awful experience. I'll be honest, I climbed it with a top rope hanging for moral support. The route was dryish after a month of drought but I still felt the need to climb with socks over my shoes. There is a rich thick carpet of moss over the entire route concealing rock layers held together with the security of an average pack of playing cards, and protection would be utterly unreliable. Impossible to grade the experience gripped me more than many of the HVS's I have done. Utterly remarkable and characterful from its insitu wheelbarrow start to its trouser filling final step right to the stream bed. Recommended to the connoisseur of the truly repellent.
