45m. The towering right hand arête of the Asteroid Wall provides a climb of unremitting difficulty and a daring pump out. Start below the arête and climb shaley ledges just left of the groove of The Cambrian, then steeper climbing (Friend 2 and 2.5 and a peg) leads to a roof. Undercut left and reach past a peg to a shakeout jug (2 pegs). Climb strenuously up the overhanging wall (peg and thread) and continue up the arête (peg) to another shakeout jug. Climb the arête rather more reasonably to the top. Belay using a fixed rope from anchors at the top of the gorse slope.
