600m. 1400m height gain from the Aosta Hut. Nasty fixed ropes to gain the ridge, but once on the arete it more than makes up for it. Fine, airy, sound rock, then the large ice field gives it a big mountain feel. Fine crest to finish. Unusual view of the Matterhorn makes it very unique.
