Excellent, but not to be underestimated. First two pitches are solid VII and really good, with the ice runnel on pitch 1 giving it a proper mixed feel. I found the third pitch really difficult, relentlessly technical, with difficult feet and not on constant hero hooks, which one would expect on a beinn eighe route of that grade and steepness. Well protected though. I thought it harder (and better) than anything on blood sweat, and boggle, which are the only other two routes ive done on the mountain. Probs VII, 8 as that pitch is much harder than the rest, but its one hell of a pitch! 3 stars. Note - we traversed left too early on pitch two which added a couple of extra moves of 8 onto the crux, after the chimney continue up and traverse left once on the girdle ledge proper. A true direct awaits an ascent

Exactly the same as French Erick and Dave Kerr we couldn't identify the correct line on the crux, third, pitch. Reched the same high point. Followed an obvious line with quality climbing to that point.

We got lost on p3. Description not quite fitting reality. excellent climbing technical and varied to our high point. Abseiling in is scary.
