This crag is situated on the aredrome midway between Yelverton and Crapstone. This is far from virgin granite and when its good weather and its a weekend it will usually be very busy. However if you are local and fancy a quiet evening climbing some easy stuff then this is your place. On the north face of the crag to the right is a highball slab and in the centre is an overhanging section no higher tan 2 metres which is the location of "Under the sun". On the east face with the tree pocking out has some good fun vertical climbing. The south face of the crag rarely gets any sunlight however provides some gd overhanging routes on gd holds however with not the best of landings!!!
Access is extremely easy as you can just park at one of the air feilds parking spots. Facilities i.e toilets and shops can be found at Yelverton. From Plymouth,Roborough take the main road to Yelverton and turn of left at the sign to Crapstone and on your right will be The Rock.
