Crag features
Located behind the Mumbles Conservative Club. May need cleaning early in the year (no wire brushes please - damages the soft rock); the lower part can be slow to dry. Beware midges in summer. No walkoff - descent by abseil. Apart from that, routes up to 27m. Best routes are Cortex The Killer (E2 5c) and Hurricane (E4 6a).

From Swansea go into Mumbles, park opposite Conservative Club. Follow path beside it and scramble up the earthy bank to the crag. NB - in a residential area: don't give them reason to complain.

I believe the latest Gower guide dismisses the crag as being banned. A recent reccie showed that quiet climbers would not be detected due to the thick tree cover. These are excellent climbs and should not be lost to the climbing community. I particularly recommend Out of the Blue at E2 5C.
