The most common route is the SW ridge. 3 camps usually. The upper ridge is quite straightforward but can become impassable due to powder snow.

Access notes
Take the collectivo from Huaraz to Caraz and then the collectivo / taxi into the mountains towards the standard route on Pisco. The approch to Chopa starts on a left hand bend before the road starts to snake upwards.
