Antisana

Cordillera Oriental, ECUADOR

Climbs 2 – Rocktype Ice – Altitude 5703m a.s.l – Faces W

Crag features
Relatively remote and peaceful, Antisana is a large, heavily crevassed volcano which offers a more solitary climbing experience compared with nearby Cotopaxi. The glacier and route near the summit change frequently making route finding the main challenge. Local guides with recent experience of the mountain highly recommended.
