Craig y Gwynt

Climbs 26 – Rocktype Gritstone – Altitude 379m a.s.l – Faces W

Crag features
Superb Grit with unusual Quartzite bands over-looking Tremadog bay, and although the routes are short the aspect and atmosphere more than make up. If soloing a mat is fairly essential as the landings are generally grim.

Approach notes
Take the first right travelling south from Trawsfynydd. The road soon forks- go right. Park thoughtfully on the roadside north of the farm at Tyn Twll, take the obvious path west to a wide col (1.5 km). Crag now on the right.
