Meall nan Tarmachan (Creagan Lochan)

Perthshire, SCOTLAND

Climbs 8 – Rocktype Schist – Altitude 600m a.s.l – Faces S

Crag features
All the routes on this crag are contained on Arrow Buttress, this is lowest climbable face below Meall nan Tarmachan. Routes start on the south face behind and just above the Lochan na Lairige dam with several on the east side facing the lochan. There are several routes on the buttress the most obvious being the deep gully that contains the route The Dambusters. On the frontal lochside face very steep and fragile ice pillers sometimes form but rarely touch down.

Access notes
Drive up to where the Ben Lawers visitor centre carpark used to be, there should be plenty space here. Parking is possible further up, be careful not to block the road as this provides access to Glen Lyon.
