Exceptionally steep and difficult face-climbs on limestone, some bolt-protected desperates. Fast-drying, good winter venue.

Access notes
The quarry owners, Woodspring District Council have

formally granted permission to climb, on the condition that climbers do not venture onto any climbs to the right of Graveyard Gate, with the sole exception of Meet Thy Creator. The quarry is a SSSI. Climbers are also asked to respect fences and other facilities put in place to protect the general public.

Uphill Village is clearly signposted from Weston-Super-Mare. The solitary hilltop church can be seen from miles around. Access to the quarry is gained via an opening in the massive sea defence wall at the end of Uphill Way. The access lane is shared by Uphill boat yard, and must not be blocked. Adequate car-parking space exists to either side of the sea wall.

Just to make very clear - according to a recent encounter - Graveyard gates IS out of bounds... we were asked to leave.... I don't think this is clear in the guidebook, or on RAD
