Rheinstor

Derbyshire, ENGLAND

Climbs 23 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 150m a.s.l – Faces W

Crag features
A lovely little cliff set in a peaceful sunny setting, by the River Bradford, just south of Alport. The crag gets all the sun that is going and is only a couple of minutes from the car. The fierce pocketed nature of the climbing and the inevitable polish means that the routes are not popular - its a pity the place isn’t a mile wide!

There is parking available on either side of the road just to the west of Alport where it starts to rise up towards Youlgreave. On the south side of the road a good track leads down towards the river through a couple of gates and on to the crag which is located just around the bend.
